RG Rough is a Franco-English musician born in 1971 and living in Bordeaux. Since the early 90s, he has worked in a number of (mainly rock) bands as a singer, guitarist/bassist and songwriter (Summer Factory, High Cheekbones, Wild Bud, JFG & the Regulars, etc.). From the 2010s onwards, he embarked on a more experimental path, releasing a number of albums on the Bambalam records label, including collaborations with Makoto Kawabata (Acid Mothers Temple), Richard Pinhas (Heldon) and New York poet Steve Dalachinsky. The latest, ‘End of the line’ (a duet with R. Pinhas) was released in April 2024 and will be followed in early 2025 by ‘80’, the last in his 60s/70s/80s trilogy.
