Protect-U are the live house partnership of Mike Mondo and Aaron Leitko. Their single on Future Times, ‘Double Rainbow’ (which was released well before the Youtube clip of the same name!) is symbolic of the genre-splicing running deep through the Future Times world, taking cues equally from the Talking Heads, Arthur Russell, and Trax Records. They are set to release their next three-track 12″ on Future Times entitled ‘World Music’ and are preparing a remix for meakusma.
